Incinerator and plastic recycling

Plastic waste is sredded and by adding a solvent the usefull plastics are recuperated. The waste of the plastic is high calorific waste.

By destillation it is possible to recuperate a part of the solvent again. Only this require a large amount of energy. The energy is recovered from the non-recycle plastics, this makes the destillation process and the plastic recycling system economical profitable.

Recovery of Engineering Plastics from compounds

The process applies to most commonly used engineering plastics such as ABS, PMMA, PS, PP, PE and many others supplied shredded, grinded, meshed or as filter dust by using adapted selective solvents and results in a granulate that is ‘as new’.

Recovery of ABS from compounds

The thermoplast ABS is being widely used in the communications- sanitary- and automotive industry.

By their chemical structure some distinctive types of ABS are specifically suitable for galvanic chromation.

Typical applications for chromed plastic parts are :

  1. Parts in the sanitary industry
  2. Esthetic strips and logos in the car manufacturing
  3. Furniture parts

Other parts that ar being processed in the plant are rear lights vehicles, front grills and consoles from car stripping plant.

Our recycling technology enables the separation of the metal sheet from the ABS support. This results in a plastic-free metal fraction that can be re-used for shielding and a recycled ABS fraction that is used again for injection moulding.

The solvents that are specifically tuned to the products remain in the closed process loop. The advantage of our process is amongst others that any manual separation of plastics based on their nature is avoided and that the product can be supplied pre-shredded.
